The Joint Admissions&Matriculation Board, JAMB has begun e-registration for the
2013Direct Entry Candidates.
The Direct Entry Programme also know as D.E. enables Diploma Certificate holders (ND,OND,NCE,HND) to study a related course in the University asa Degree Programme without having to write Jamb.
However, in some schools, they may be required to sit and pass the Post-UTME exams for such schools they applied for.
To register, you will need to purchase the Direct Entry Scratch Card. As at the time of this publication, only Zenith Bank has been authorized to sell this scratch card.
So you may proceed to any branch of Zenith to inquire and purchase yours.
The scratch card costs N4000 though bank charges may apply.
Once you have your card and you're ready to apply, visit the JAMB portal at http//www.jamb.org.ng/DirectEntry/
Registration Procedure
Though we strongly advice that a professional handles your registration, if you feel you are capable of handling it, you should be able to print and provide all the information on the Jamb DE Registration Template and have a scanned/digital
passport of not more than 3 months before fillingand submitting the actual online form.
Please keep your Card and Receipt properly and always Logout before quitting the system Before visiting any cyber cafe or business center to register;
1. Ensure you download and PRINT the Jamb DE Registration Template.
2. Take the form home. With the help of the official Jamb brochure and other relevant information, fillwith other members of your family or get Admission 101 for help.
3. After filling the template, proceed to an approved business center or cyber cafe to fill your details online.
Pre-Registration Notes;
1. Remember to collect your registration scratch card from thebusiness centre or cyber cafe thathelp you register.
2. You will require a JPEG passportto be scanned or digitized. It should be not older than 3 months and should have a size not more than 15kb.
3. You will NOT be able to change your Names, Date of Birth, Gender and Origin after submitting your application.
4. You will require an email address to successfully complete your registration and get additional information from Jamb.
To get a free email address, go to www.gmail.com If you are doing your registration from a professional Computer or Business Center, all the above procedures, including the Finger Print Registration should be easy.
