Why the Mass Failure in 2013 JAMB UTME?

From the report reaching us, majority of the candidates that participated in the exam failed woefully.Mass Failure in 2013 JAMB UTME
We went ahead to question some computer centres where candidates were checking the 2013 UTME results, and an operator at one of the centres we visited said out of the over 500 UTME results he has checked so far, only about 45 candidates had 200 and above. At another centre, the operator told us a pre-degree student fainted when she found out she scored below the minimum requirements of her University. The story goes on.

What could be the cause of this mass failure? Did JAMB intentionally fail candidates to remedy the sale of about 1.7 million JAMB forms for 500,000 available spaces for admission? Was it the sole fault of the candidates? Can this mass failure be attributed to the dwindling educational sector?

Jamb claim that over 90% of candidates were involve on exam malpractice. Could that be the reason for the mass failures? What about candidates who claimed they independently did the exam themselves, but the results still didn’t meet their desired score?

A JAMBites sent a lamentation to us anonymously, which he required all other JAMBites to share until it reaches Goodluck. Check Lamentation of an Anonymous Jambite for more details.

JAMB is wicked and selfish, why will they sell form to over 1.8 million candidates for a limited space of 500,000. If the available space is limited, why don't they make their forms limited and stop siphoning our hard earned money for their selfish interest.

We at MySchoolGist strongly support the federal government to scrape them out of the system.
