Barely few weeks into the new semester, students of University of Benin,
one of Nigeria’s prestigious higher institutions of learning, had cause
to be extremely excited when Africa’s singing sensation, Tuface in
collaboration with Amstel Malta, the number one premium low sugar malt
drink in Nigeria stormed the campus.
Other class acts billed for the tour include Sasha P, Seyi Shey, Timi
Dakolo, Phyno, Crystals, Harrisong, Capital F.E.M.I Solid Star and Jus’
Kiddin’s EFA. NM En.Core’s Helen Emoh Abutu, project manager for Campus
Connect Tour assured fans of a wonderful time. “ We are going to four

After a thrilling performance that kept the students on their toes for
hours, an excited Tuface Idibia, thanked the crowd for coming out to
listen to him and his friends and promised to revisit the school again.
Tuface Idibia expressed his excitement about the tour. “I am really
excited about this partnership with Amstel Malta and looking forward to
more of this. It has been a long time that I interacted with the
students; it is going to be an emotional return to these campuses. I
have received and still enjoy massive support from these spots. They are
my ‘personal’ people.”
Some of the students commended Tuface for coming to perform and for
“warming” them up as the new semester begins. Harrison Pius, a 200 level
student of Political Science, who sang along with Tuface all through
his performance, described the show as inspiring and exciting. “This is
my first event since I was admitted into this campus and it has been on
point. Some people have tried to organize shows on this campus promising
to bring big names but at the end of the day they never show up. Amstel
Malta has given us something that I would never forget for a long time
to come. They have given me the platform to be the best I can be.” he
said.
Another student Jackson, a 300 level student of Chemical Engineering,
described Tuface’s performance and even coming to his campus as a dream
come true for. In his own words, “I have always fantasized myself
standing before Tuface Idibia performing live. Even at home, members of
my family know that there is no music that soothes me except Tubaba
himself”. He described himself as a die-hard fan. “If Tubaba was a
pastor, I will be attending his church, if he was a movement, I will
lead others to follow him”.
Similarly, an aspiring young singer on campus, Lima, a 100 level student
of Bio Chemistry, shared her venture into music which she said was
inspired by Tuface Idibia’s consistency and originality in the music
industry has proven to be one of the best. “I have looked up to Tuface
and will continue to hold him in high esteem. And my thanks go to Amstel
Malta for creating this platform”
The next show is billed for May 14 at the University of Port Harcourt
and Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu on May 16, while
University of Abuja will come alive on May 23.
