HOW TO CONFIGURE GLO BIS TO WORK ON PC

Glo download speed is not upto
etisalat but it still gives 300kps
on idm which is fair.

Note: i did not test with daily or
weekly subscription but it
should work. | i tested with only
blackberry curve3 running
operating system 6 but it
should work with all bb.

procedure > Get your bb and
insert ur glo sim, load
1000naira. you off your data so
u dont get things complicated.
its under mobile network
settings, after turning off ur data,switch to
edge.glo activates bis on edge
faster than 3g.

infact at times wen i turn on d
phone and bis does Not come on
3g i reboot while its on edge,
after u av changed to
edge,send COMONTH to 777 in a
text message.

if u do any other ussd? You are
on Your own. You will or not get
a pending message but wait
maximum 5 mins u will get a
blacberry suscription successful
message, Then test status to 777 to comfirm.

Once it tells u ur monthly
suscription with 3gig will expire
bla bla bla,then u are activated.

Next remove ur battery and
reinsert after like 2 minutes,its
called soft reset. once ur phone
comes
on,go to network options and
turn on d data. wait for like 1 min and u will see ur small
letter edge change to capital
letter.

then wait like 5mins so ur bb
can configure on d
network.then reboot or do a
battery pull.

When it reb**t s ,it should bring
capital edge, next go to
network options and change to
3g,it should bring 3g with d bb
logo in front of it, then u are
connected.

lastly connect the bb to the
computer with ur usb cable,for
emphasies sake i said usb so
don ask irrelevant questions.

Open your blackberry desktop
software ,goto tools, mobile
internet settings and configure
ur
access point to :blackberry.net
username:
gloflat
password:gloflat.

then click save.then go to
tools,start mobile internet.it will
connect one hand.i have used it
severally so
follow d instructions carefully. it
browse,streams downloads etc.

Also if u av bb suscription
existing on ur glo,u can also use
it instead of doing a new
one.tested only with the code
above.

Note:u must use d bb as a
modem as explained above, any
other method i dont know
about it.
